A list of those with whom Zhané Warren collaborated as printer between January 2008 and July 2024. Across these projects, Warren worked closely with the artists, many times with assistant printers, to develop and translate their practices into print, overseeing each stage from technical experimentation to final editioning. The majority of the resulting prints were published by Warren Editions, reflecting the studio’s commitment to contemporary printmaking. Additional projects were realised in collaboration with Artthrob, David Krut Projects, Galerie Onrust, Goodman Gallery, Spier Arts Trust, WHATIFTHEWORLD, as well as through projects initiated and published by the artists themselves, underscoring the breadth of the studio’s partnerships within the South African art ecosystem and beyond.
Purchasing original prints made in etching, woodcut, or monotype (to name a few) offers unique qualities. Studying the details of a print is a pleasurable activity. Fostering a love of prints can lead to valuable time spent viewing prints, exploring their production, finding inspiration, and collecting them. A lifetime investment.
