• Online and in-person consultations – Tailored advice on printmaking projects, techniques, materials and edition planning. These sessions can help you develop a concept from idea to final print, troubleshoot technical issues, or refine existing work. Meetings can take place virtually or in the studio, depending on your needs and location.
• One-to-one and group teaching, with the option of studio rental – Individual lessons and small group workshops introduce or deepen skills in etching, héliogravure, monotype and related printmaking processes (such as drypoint and mezzotint). Teaching can focus on beginners learning the basics or experienced artists refining advanced techniques. As a result of this teaching, students may also gain access to the studio on a rental basis to continue developing their own projects in a professional environment.
• Printing of plates – Professional printing from prepared plates, ensuring consistent, high-quality impressions. This service is suitable for artists who have already made their plates and would like expert handling of inking, wiping, paper selection and press work to achieve the best possible results in their editions.
• Steelfacing of copperplates – Protective steelfacing to extend the life of copperplates, especially when printing larger editions. This process helps to preserve fine detail, line quality and tonal areas so that the last print in the edition is as crisp and rich as the first.
• Collaborations in etching, héliogravure and monotype – Close collaborative projects with artists, from initial concept and image development through to final proofs and editions. Warren Editions brings technical expertise and an artistic approach to these collaborations, supporting artists as they explore new visual languages within the printmaking media of etching, héliogravure and monotype.
• Cleaning and conservation-related care of etchings, lithographs and woodcuts – Careful surface cleaning and basic conservation-related treatments for original prints. This service is intended for artists, collectors, galleries and institutions who wish to stabilise, freshen and present their prints while respecting the integrity and value of the original prints.
• On-site consultation of a specialised printmaking library – Access to a curated collection of books on printmaking techniques, print history, the print market and significant printmakers. These resources are available for study and reference only in the studio. Books are not lent out, ensuring that the collection remains accessible and intact for all visitors.
