Christo Basson was one of the creative directors and co-founders of renowned illustration studio Am I Collective. Basson along with Ruan Vermeulen opened Bewilder – an animation studio in Cape Town.
Based in Cape Town, and with a degree in Visual Communication from the University of Stellenbosch, Basson works on international animation projects as well as his own artistic practice.
As an artist, Basson works in pencil, charcoal, paint and print, employing his illustration skills in a personal exploration of human forms and contemporary culture.
