Christo Basson was one of the creative directors and co-founders of the renowned illustration studio Am I Collective. Basson and Ruan Vermeulen co-own and run Bewilder and Rave Growl animation production companies in Cape Town.
Based in Cape Town and with a degree in Visual Communication from the University of Stellenbosch, Basson works on international animation projects and his artistic practice.
As an artist, Basson works with pencil, charcoal, paint, and print, employing his illustration skills in a personal exploration of human forms and contemporary culture.
