Jean de Wet’s work explores imaginings of futuristic instruments, abstract landscapes, lost travellers and other inter-dimensional misadventures.
Jean de Wet is an artist and illustrator born in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. Always drawing, building contraptions and making music in his youth, he later graduated with a BA in Information Design from the University of Pretoria in 2007. In 2008, he moved on to work as an illustrator in Cape Town while further experimenting with drawing, illustration and comics.
